Comfortable Lounging and Sleeping Bras You Can Wear All Night or Weekend

There are a number of reasons to want a comfy sleep or lounging bra.  If you're pregnant you may feel sore and want extra support while you sleep.  If you're nursing, a sleep bra can be useful to help keep leaks from getting all over your clothes. Or. you might want a leisure bra because you've had surgery and can't wear your usual bras until you heal. Then there's monthly bloating and tenderness. Your regular bras ride up, the clasps won't close, and you're just plain miserable. In all of those cases, you need some support, but comfort is your number one priority! Or maybe, it's just because it's the weekend or the evening, and you want coverage and stability without the hassle of a full-fledged bra. Front Closure Bras for Elderly Women That Are Comfortable and Easy to Put On

I'm not elderly (yet), but a recent experience gave me new appreciation for older (or otherwise not able-bodied) women who struggle just to get their bras on in the morning.  I strained something in my right arm. Suddenly, it became difficult to move my arms behind me in order to close my bra.  When I did, I got pain shooting up and down my arm. Ouch! I was able to make do with an old sports bra (which I twisted around — don't do this with a bra you care about!) and an old Chantelle racerback bra that closes in front. Luckily for me, my dexterity was still OK, and the underwire in the racerback bra didn't bother me. However, if you're an elderly woman,  you've probably lost some mobility, or are struggling with loss of dexterity.  It may be harder to put your bras on, harder to close them, and the underwires may have become irritating.
